H.E. Mr. Christian Kettel Thomsen, Vice President, European Investment Bank (EIB), and Mr. Mahbub Hassan Saleh, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Belgium and Luxembourg, and Head of Mission to the European Union, ceremonially announced at the EIB Headquarters in Luxembourg today the signing of the Finance Contract between Government of Bangladesh and European Investment Bank on 29 December 2021 for a loan of 250 million Euros for procuring Covid-19 vaccines under ‘Bangladesh Covid-19 Public Health Programme’. This is so far the largest amount of loan provided by EIB to Government of Bangladesh. Thanks to EIB and the European Union! Long live Bangladesh - EU Partnership!
